The Problem with 10.5 inch '!'
I finally got to print with my largest wood block - a 10.5 inch ! Here in red with EXPERIMENT. Also this is the first 2 colour print on the Proofing Press. So so so much easier than the 8 x 5.

The Problem with Aid and Abet
An art collective, Aid & Abet are 3 people, David CJ and Sarah. They have a plan to open and run a not for profit gallery space in Cambridge. Exciting? Yes! It gets better: They've asked me to show the 'exquisite corpse' posters and books I'm working on in April. Next Month! But first they approached me to design a flyer for them - this is it...

The problem with Jazz
The second installment of Jazz LPs designed and printed here! The cover is set in Gallia - both font and ornaments date from the mid 1930s, giving the record a nice inter-war feel. Semi ironic I like to say! The music ranges from abstract Jazz to ballads (my favourites). I was keen to keep the design minimal in keeping with the lonesome title. Contact Ben Lamdin for more details...

The problem with the new Proofing Press
The new Proofing Press arrived last week with a bed size of 23" x 13". Made in the early 1930s, the press came on it's own bench and with the Stephenson Blake badge at one end and the number 158 stenciled at the other it's in great condition. Early results are very promising, a mixed font Alphabet and a new Exquisite Corpse print!
The problem with Alphabets
Alphabet poster printed with the new Proofing Press... Each line printed in a different face. Size 12" x 16"
